N81 Route Improvements Works

Introduction

Wicklow County Council, in conjunction with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, appointed Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) as the lead consultant to progress two separate projects on the N81 in parallel; the N81 Whitestown Lower Project and the N81 Hangman’s Bend and Tuckmill Project. This route improvement project aims to address road deficiencies contributing to the poor road safety record on the network.

The dates for the second non-statutory public consultation are the 30th of January 2025 to the 27th of February 2025. Please see Public Consultation for additional information.
